Since 1976 the Borghese family has always focused on providing only the highest quality pet products to consumers all across the United States at affordable prices.

Dennis Borghese was the owner of the Pet Den in Commack, NY and for over 35 years provided the finest pet care and products to customers all over Long Island. It was Dennis's dedication and commitment to detail that earned him the respect of Long Island’s pet community as well as recognition for the Pet Den as one of the "Best of Long Island" premier pet shops. Due to tough economic times he had to close the Pet Den in 2014 and it was a tremendous loss not only to the community but to Dennis as well.

In February 2018, Dennis suddenly and unexpectedly passed, and it has been overwhelming to see the tremendous response and support from all who knew him.

To carry on Dennis’s legacy, our family formed Fine Feather, LLC so we can continue to provide our products and services to our loyal and new customers all across the United States. Our family will continue to use our extensive knowledge and experience in the pet industry to provide pet owners all over with the best pet products.

Over the years, Dennis developed unique and customized blends of aromatic seed mixtures for birds. His Custom Avian Diets were exclusive to the Pet Den and now are available as one of Fine Feather, LLC’s product lines. These avian diets are aromatically enhanced and vitamin enriched blends, formulated exclusively by Dennis. We have combined our family’s vast experience and knowledge in bird care. Our custom avian diets are designed to cater to the health and nutritional needs of all our feathered friends.
